  • Perfecting the flavour blend: the right combination of spices, fruits and other goodies will give your buns that irresistible flavour – and to your own taste (LOL without peel for us!)
  • Shaping: how to easily get them all evenly sized and perfectly rounded
  • Making the crosses and the glaze: refine these finishing touches to top your perfect hot cross buns

Together we’ll sit and share freshly baked buns, warm from the oven. Enjoy them the way you like them – butter, homemade jams and other delectables will be on the table!

Then take home a special little something from us to get you on your baking way.

Once your booking has been processed, you’ll receive an email confirming details including the workshop address in Killara, on Sydney’s North Shore.

Workshop bookings are non-refundable but you’re welcome to send someone in your place if you can’t attend.

The ticket is also non-transferable after the workshop has been held in case you forgot to come, or were unable to attend.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER, SILVANA GRIFFIN

Former President of the Country Women’s Association Sydney City Branch (CWA), Sil is an avid preserver and home baker, and has been awarded numerous blue ribbons in baking, preserving and handicraft across branch, group and State levels over the last 10 years.

Keen to share her know-how, Sil will help demystify baking these traditional Easter buns, answer your questions and set you on your way to making at home with confidence.
