ABOUT YOUR TEACHER, SILVANA GRIFFIN
Sil is an avid embroiderer, jam maker and home baker and has been ever since having learnt ‘how-tos’ from both her mum and primary school eons ago!
Former President of the Country Women’s Association Sydney City Branch (CWA), she has also been awarded numerous blue ribbons across branch, group and State levels over the last 10 years in embroidery, baking and preserving.
Loving to help others discover their own creative abilities, encouraging them to stretch their skills or simply to just have a go, Sil believes everyone needs time-out, slowly making and doing with their hands – without judgement!
Keen to share her skills, Sil will help demystify this revered age-old skill, answer your questions and set you on your way to embroidering with confidence.
